Weekly Update - Week of May 18th, 2026

Dear Families,

It's the final countdown! We are into the last week of school!

Chromebooks Turned in

Students will be turning in their Chromebooks for the summer. This is to assist in helping with updates and maintain devices over the break. If your student has not already brought in their Chromebook and Charger, please send those in this week. Teachers will check them in and pass them along to their teacher next year.

Students are still able to log into Clever with home devices with their badge or Google Login if they are interested in continuing with some of our online educational resources.

Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration is now open, and we are so excited to welcome our newest Heritage Vikings for the upcoming school year! If you have a child who will be five years old on or before the required date, we encourage you to begin the registration process as soon as possible. Early registration helps us plan for classrooms, staffing, and special events to ensure a smooth start to the year. We can’t wait to meet our future kindergarten students and partner with our families as they begin their Heritage journey!

You can find registration infromation below on our RV webpage.

Super Games Volunteers

It looks like a hot one for Super Games! Please be sure students are dressed appropriately for the event. There might be some water games along the way to help stay cool.

Please note, we will be using this list to print visitor badges. Volunteers will need to enter the front doors between 8:35 and 8:50 or after our morning drop-off at 9:15. You will enter through the weapons detectors in the main doors. We suggest leaving unnecessary items in your vehicles help speed up the detector process.

This week's lunches will be a cook's choice to help reduce food waste. There will be a variety of student favorites, just not the planned menus as usual.

Recess

WARM WEATHER IS UPON US! Ohio weather gives us more temperature numbers than the lottery. Please remind your student to be properly dressed for the weather. This includes making sure that school-appropriate clothing is worn at all times. If a student's clothing is deemed inappropriate according to the handbook, a staff member will reach out requesting proper clothes be dropped off.

Free Breakfast and Lunch

We are thrilled to announce that free breakfast and lunch will continue to be provided for all students this school year! This initiative helps ensure that every student has access to nutritious meals, supporting their learning and well-being.
